It was only yesterday that Puerto Rico ruled against gay couples adopting, and Ricky Martin has decided to weigh in on this decision.

The Huffington Post is reporting that Martin — himself the father of twin boys conceived through in-vitro fertilization — feels that it is “sad” that Puerto Rico’s legislature would deny loving couples the right to adopt orphans:

Besides not having the right to adopt, gay people face workplace discrimination, as well as lack of protection against domestic violence, in Puerto Rico.
