Juanes killed Elton John’s “Your Song,” J-Lo makes it all about her, & Jenni Rivera receives a tribute. So went the Grammys!

There wasn’t much of a representation of the Latin people, though: Juanes’s tribute to Bruce Springsteen never took place. Outside of Juanes’s performance (which was only 30 seconds of the song, though it was wonderful to hear it in both English & Spanish), there was no representation of Hispanics at the Grammys. Kelly Clarkson even went out of her way to insult Miguel — a Grammy award winner who, of course, did NOT receive his award on the air — by saying “I have no idea who you are.”
Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez turned the awards ceremony into ME ME ME! “I followed the code!” *sticks out leg* “Look at me! Look at the Grammy dress I used to wear! Hey Pitbull, don’t I look beautiful?” (What else was Pitbull supposed to say but “Yes, Mami”?)
In other news, our reina Jenni Rivera received a solo mention in the “In Memoriam” section, as did other legends as Yomo Toro.
