Fox News Latino is reporting that Zimmerman’s attorney requested the removal of the GPS from Judge Debra Nelson, but his request was denied. In addition, Nelson also denied the bond requests from Zimmerman’s attorney. The judge set a trial date for June 10th of next year — 45 days prior to that, Zimmerman will hold a hearing with the court, where he intends to argue that he was justified in killing Trayvon Martin under the “Stand Your Ground” defense. If he is successful in this argument, he can request that the judge drop the charges.
