We had to take time out to crown our favorite Hollywood moms — moms who managed to reclaim their perfect waistlines after bringing their cute tots into the world.
Many still find it hard to believe that Jennifer Lopez was not only pregnant at one point, but pregnant with twins! The actress/singer, who is currently on tour with Enrique Iglesias, has got one of the best bodies in the industry, with a set of abs that make it impossible to believe her stomach was at one point carrying two babies. Jennifer is a mommy to 4-year-old twins Max David and Emme Maribel, daddy is Jennifer’s ex Marc Anthony.
Speaking of getting her body back to being fabulously fit after having gained 50lbs while pregnant with her twins, the 42-year-old says it was a lot of hard work: “I work out nearly every day. Don’t let the pictures and everything fool you as far as people having a baby and then the next day looking amazing. It takes a lot of work.”
Another celebrity mommy who managed to bounce back to bombshell status after giving birth is Mexican beauty Salma Hayek. The 45-year-old actress — whose daughter, Valentina Paloma, is already 4 years old — went right back to her perfect hourglass figure, having educated herself about which foods to eat to drop the weight, and working out regularly. During an interview with Oprah on getting back her pre-baby body, Salma said that it took a great effort: “I thought, I’m just going to lose all the weight superfast because I’m going to breast-feed, and everybody tells you that if you breast-feed, it’s going to come off like this. It’s a lie!”
Also on our list of hot-bodied celebrity moms is singer, actress, and television personality Christina Milian. Christina might only be 5′ 2″, but she packs a mean punch when it comes to that body of hers. When speaking about how she keeps her body in such tiptop shape, this 30-year-old full-time mommy to her 2-year-old baby girl, Violet, says that her favorite thing to do is simply work up a sweat. Christina, who gained 45lbs while pregnant by ex-husband super-producer The Dream, says she managed to bounce back into shape by switching to a diet made up of mostly raw foods, protein and drinking a lot of water. In the past this Cubana has admitted to being a bit obsessive when it comes to working out, revealing that not only does she work out six days a week, she sometimes does it twice a day!
While we must admit that yes, most celebrities have dieticians, chefs and personal trainers to help them get back their camera-ready bodies after giving birth, they are, in the end, the ones making the grueling effort to workout practically every single day in conjunction with being mindful of almost every single piece of food on their diet plan. You go, ladies!
