The following five are not only among the top Hispanic actors, they’re in the big league, a part of Hollywood’s A-list actors and actresses. The beautiful actress of Dominican descent has really hit Hollywood hard. From her early success in her first big role in “Center Stage,” to her biggest role so far in one of the world’s most successful movies of all time, “Avatar,” Zoe Saldana is an experienced actress. She has played roles in movies like “Star Trek,” “Drumline,” “Pirates of The Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl,” “Guess Who,” “The Losers,” and “Colombiana.”
Mexican bombshell Salma Hayek is another of Hollywood’s A-list actresses. Her most recognizable role is her controversial and critically acclaimed portrayal of Frida Kahlo. For the role in “Frida,” she was nominated for every prestigious award, including the Oscars, Golden Globes, and BAFTAs. Other big movies she has starredin include “Wild Wild West,” “Grown Ups,” and “Puss In Boots.”

3. Penelope Cruz
Penelope Cruz is one of the most successful Spanish actresses to transition to the American market. The young talent was first cast when she was 15, and went on to become a successful and critically acclaimed actress in Spain. She then came to this side of the Atlantic and took Hollywood in her hands. She won an Academy Award and Golden Globe for her role in “Vicky Cristina Barcelona,” and has appeared in blockbuster movies like “Blow,” “Vanilla Sky,” “Volver,” “Sahara,” and “Nine.”
Truly a Hollywood gem, the Spanish actor has won every possible award. Javier Bardem first gained critical acclaim in his native Spain, but soon turned to this side of the Atlantic to take over. He has been Oscar-nominated three times, winning once. Under his belt he has a Golden Globe, BAFTA, Screen Actors Guild award, every film critics award from New York to Cannes, and five Goya awards. His outstanding works includes “No Country For Old Men,” “Vicky Cristina Barcelona,” “Biutiful,” “The Sea Inside,” and “Before Night Falls.”
Going through El Zorro’s filmography and recognizing all the films he has been in would simply take too long. The Spanish native is an astounding actor who has been nominated numerous times for Golden Globes, ALMA, and Goya awards. Some of the movies he has starred in include his American debut “The Mambo Kings,” “Philadelphia,” “Interview With The Vampire,” “Evita,” “The Mask of Zorro,” “Frida,” “Assassins,” Desperado, and both the “Spy Kids” and “Shrek” franchises.
